A prize at Powder & Grains (Buenos Aires, July 2021)
Nicolas Preud'homme wins Best Poster Video Prize at the virtual Powder & Grains conference (Buenos Aires, July 2021)
The Powder & Grains conference is held every four years and focuses on the physics of granular media. This year, the conference was exceptionally organized exclusively online with new interactive activities and a whole new virtual environment. Next to each poster presented during the conference, authors had to submit a short video summarizing their work. All those videos then entered a contest to elect the best poster video.
Nicolas Preud’homme, researcher at the GRASP lab, participated in the P&G conference to present a poster for his work on the effect of grain shape on the flow of granular materials. His poster video recorded in the lab has just won the Best Poster Video Prize of the conference.
